2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH. When visiting the website, server log files are automatically collected:

  • IP address (anonymized after 7 days)
  • Date and time of access
  • Accessed URL
  • Browser and operating system
  • Referrer URL

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure provision of the website). A data processing agreement (DPA) exists with Hetzner. Data processing takes place in Germany/EU.

3. Contact Form

When you contact us via the contact form, your information (name, email address, message) is processed to handle your inquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). Data is deleted after 6 months, unless a further business relationship is established.

4. Website Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami as a self-hosted web analytics solution. Umami does not set cookies, does not store IP addresses and collects fully anonymous statistics. Therefore, no consent is required.

5. Fonts (Self-Hosted)

All fonts used are hosted locally on our server. No connections to external font services are established.

6. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies. No tracking or marketing cookies are used.

7. Quell-Control Center (Mobile App)

This privacy policy additionally applies to the "Quell-Control Center" app (iOS/Android).

No collection of personal data. The app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data of its users; a user account is not required.

  • Bluetooth: used exclusively locally to find and control nearby Quell devices. No Bluetooth or location data is transmitted to us or third parties.
  • Location permission (Android): technically required by Android for the Bluetooth scan; the app does not use or transmit any location data.
  • Local settings (volume, soundscape, PIN) remain solely on the device or in the secure storage of the smartphone.
  • Optional cloud login (administrators only): solely for firmware management, administrators can optionally sign in to the Quell Cloud; only the login credentials are transmitted for authentication. Not required for normal use.
  • No tracking, no analytics, no advertising.
